Buttermilk Pie

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Heat oven to 350° degrees.  Beat all ingredients until smooth, about 30 seconds.  Pour into a greased pie plate (can also use a pie crust if wanted).  Bake about 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
